Christmas Fun

Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays! We had a great time seeing lots of family and eating way too much. We made our first ever road trip with the kids to San Antonio for the day. Davis really loved playing with his cousins :) We have decided he is a "people person".

Here is a pic of all of the grandkids and and great grandkids of my Grandma Gertie.

On Christmas Eve we went to Mom & Dad's house and celebrated with them and my brother's family. Six kids ages 4 and under makes for a frenzied time, but the Spanky's loved it, and got some wonderful new toys.

Evan is trying to stay out of trouble by blending with the presents...

Here is the only one I got with all 6 of the kids.

Christmas morning we woke up to peace and serenity...

Yeah right... I like to call my outfit "asylum chic".

After opening more presents, it was such a beautiful day that we decided to just put a jacket on over their pj's and go for a walk with our new train whistles.

A few days later, Kyle's parents came into town with even MORE presents.

They stayed with the kids for a few days while we went to a nearby resort for some R&R. They are very brave grandparents :)

But seriously, this holiday has to stop. The play room was bad before Christmas. Check out the insanity now...

Luckily the rest of the furniture for their room will be arriving soon. Then we can store and organize some of this mess!! When the room is all done, I will post some pictures.

Evan Walking

This video is about 3 weeks old. So, he is already running now, but I think it is cute to see them teeter around.

Thanksgiving Family & Feasts

Sorry it has been so long since the last post. It has been a slow month, and I got a new camera that I kept putting off setting up. Here are some pix from our Thanksgiving.

Carter and Davis waiting to go downstairs to eat...

The boys ate Cheerios while we ate Thanksgiving dinner. They tried a bit of the roast and cranberries, but they still aren't into feeding themselves "real" food.

Kyle's parents and his sister's family came to visit the day after Thanksgiving. The boys really liked playing with Emily and Austin.

We took the boys out to some After Christmas sales, and they were less than impressed. But Carter helped me sort through my coupons before we left :)

Evan has been walking for the past month, and Davis can take 3-4 steps as well. I will try to get some video posted if I can find time to figure out how to edit it.

Pumpkin Pictures

The boys were too little again to go trick-or-treating this year in their togas. But we took some pictures of them with their pumpkins to compare to last year's picture. Oct. 30th was their original due date. So, if they were full term this is what they would have looked like as newborns :) Clockwise, starting from the top it is Carter, Davis then Evan.

Here is Carter now (I think they may be eating too many carrots and sweet potatoes...their noses are as orange as the pumpkins!):

And Davis (his pj's look like a wet suit on him they are so tight):

And Evan:

Friends, Romans, Countrymen...

We went to a birthday party for another set of triplets that turned 3 this weekend. They are precious little girls of a supermom who is so perfect and nice it will make you sick!! :) She was really a huge help to me when I was pregnant and soon after the babies were born.

They had the cutest little train that the kids & adults could ride around the block. She also put together all kinds of cute carnival games for the kids.
Our boys went as "fraternity" brothers in togas. They looked like they were riding in chariots, in their Choo Choo Wagon. It was super easy to make these costumes out of pillow cases!

I wish we could have stayed to watch the girls eat cake and open their presents, but the Spanky's had already missed their morning nap and were ready to get back to their thrones.

First Haircuts

The boys were approaching a mullet style, so I finally broke down and made an appointment to get their haircut. Papa went with us and took the pictures. Nobody cried, just a little squirmy!

Evan went first, because his "Bozo the Clown" style was in the most need of taming...

Then Davis...

Then Carter (with Paci of course)...

This picture made me realize how lucky I am to have ONLY 3 babies instead of 6!

Fall Festivals

Lately, we have been trying to get the boys out more. I think they are getting sick of only seeing the upstairs of our house. A few weeks ago we went to a Fall Festival for my Austin Moms of Multiples group. The Spanky's got into a jumpin' thing for the first time. Evan and Davis thought it made a good wrestling pit...

The weekend after that we went to the Fall Festival at Emmaus Catholic Church. They had lots of great stuff for older kids to do, but the boys were really well behaved and enjoyed some BBQ and played with maracas.
