Well, we officially have 2 babies that can sit by themselves without pitching a fit (finally). It would have been pretty embarrassing at their 1 year checkup to tell the doctor they don't sit up yet!
Evan has been doing it for a couple of weeks, but Carter finally got the hang of it this week. Davis is the lone holdout and still refuses to bend at the waist. The fact that he is strong enough to thwart our efforts, makes me think he is definitely strong enough to sit up. It is more a test of wills at this point.

They didn't want little Mary Beth to show them up! She, BTW, has an earache:(
I also think it is hilarious when he does the stiff-as-aboard thing when he doesn't want to sit up.
So cute! I can't believe they are almost a year old. What are you going to do for their b-day?
