Doggie in the Window (and Carter)

Just thought this was a pretty funny picture. The kids LOVE the windows. They usually have a couple of puzzle pieces in their hands that they like to bang on the sills.

Stupid Baby Tricks

Davis for some reason likes to crawl around with this toy in his mouth, but it looks like it is stuck to his nose.

Maisie is a little unsure about it, but she sure does love to be around the babies!

Also, I posted a couple of months ago that Carter and Evan could both sit up on their own...just wanted to let everyone know that Davis can do it too. He started about two weeks after Carter. He is also finally crawling on his knees and cruisin' around the furniture.

Evan has started to take a few steps and is just so proud of himself when he does it!

It's October...

...That means we can officially start wearing our Halloween pajamas. We have to maximize the number of wears because these things are already skin tight. They always get such a kick out of being in the same crib. It is funny to watch them wrestle and try to fall on each other.

Later, Carter thought he saw a ghost, but it turned out to just be his extra pasty Dad.

Caroline's 2nd Birthday Party

It has been awhile since I have posted, and frankly, I don't really have a good a excuse. But here is what we have been up to...

We went to the birthday party of our good friend Caroline, the weekend after the boys 1st birthday. The boys have never been around this many kids, and I think they were a little leery of the scene.

Here is the sweet birthday girl in pink. Her mom Shannon, my BFF from high school ;) is next to her.

We ate cupcakes in our Choo Choo wagon...

Then we did some swingin'...

After that we started to melt down and had to make a quick get away.

Chugachuga..woowoo!

This choo choo wagon is apparently a must have for triplets!! We gave it to the boys for their birthday and took it on its maiden voyage this weekend.

Carter wasn't too sure about it at first, but he got used to it. They were all pretty curious about their new ride.

We got plenty of stares on the road!

1st Birthday Party

I know people always say that time flies, but I truly cannot believe they are 1 year old! They have come a long way from the NICU!! We had lots of family over to our house to celebrate the boy's 1st Birthday. My parents, Kyle's parents, Kyle's Grandma Joanne, and Kyle's Aunt Mary were all there...

We got the party started with some Frosted Cheerios, while the big people ate BBQ. I think they were more excited about being downstairs than anything!

The party theme was Trains. I got this great bundt pan that makes individual cars. My decorating skills could stand some improvement, but overall I thought it turned out pretty cute.

Things really got started when we opened the presents. We have some really exciting things to play with now! Of course, no party would be complete without a football game on in the background.

Davis liked the alphabet train the best!

Carter got to take the first spin on it!

We then took off the boys nice outfits and let them try their first bites of cake. Carter immediately attacked all of the candy on it before we could even take 1 picture. Maisie was just biding her time.

Carter stuffed himself with cake until he just couldn't go on. At first he could barely stay awake...but it didn't take long for that sugar to kick in! Oh the humanity!

Davis, was a little more impatient with his!

Evan preferred the icing more than the cake. I was just amazed they kept their hats on!

After the cake, we hosed them down and went upstairs to play with our new toys before going to bed. Next year maybe we can try candles on the cake :)

First Swim

We bought this baby pool at the beginning of summer, and kept waiting and waiting for the boys to sit well enough to use it. We finally put them in this past week and they really seemed to like it. Surprisingly, there was no screaming or whining. It worked so well we decided to just bathe the boys out there that evening :)

After our outdoor bath, we put on jammies and sorted socks and hats!
