Foam Party

Mimi & Papa left us with some fun foamy soap for the boys during their last visit. I wasn't brave enough to try it in the bathtub, but we let them go crazy with it in their pool last weekend. They thought it was hilarious!

London Tooties

Why is bodily function humor so hilarious to boys?

For some reason, Carter has changed the words of this classic song to "London Tooties".

Oh, and earlier today he was standing next to me and tooted. So, I asked him if he did it (because I make them say "excuse me"). He said "No it wasn't tooties...it was a ocean liner." And then he laughed.

Memorial Day Weekend

Here are some quick photos from our long weekend with The Cousins.

The swimming pool is always a big hit.

Evan finally decided to wake up and join the party.

Carter really shouldn't stand next to anyone that has a tan.

The next day they all rode trikes, bikes, and Barbie cars at Gigi's.

Of course their younger cousin Kendall can pedal like the wind, and The Spankys still say "I don't wanna pedal...you push!"

Last Day of School

Well, we survived an entire year of preschool. The Spankys weren't sick nearly as much as I thought they would be. They had such a great time and loved their teachers. I just loved the part where I could be all alone in a very quiet house.

Gigi had her last day of work FOREVER yesterday. She has officially retired :) So, hopefully together we can think up some fun stuff to wear them out this summer!

Stompin'

It finally rained again a few weeks ago. So, we stuffed the boys feet into the boots they wore at Halloween.

They liked the splashing around in the puddles, but when it started to drizzle a tiny little bit, Carter & Davis were DONE.

Evan, on the other hand, loved every second of it!

Mother's Day

I'm usually the one behind the camera, but I somehow managed to look at least presentable this day. So, I had Kyle take some pix of me and the boys. (I know Davis needs a haircut!)

I was trying to find some other pictures of just me and all 3 boys. This is all I could come up with. It's from a little over 2 years ago. I will say that I am having more fun now with them than I was at that age. Although, most days I didn't have to actually get dressed or even wear something that matched.

Oh, and I promise Carter is not being smothered by the towel, he is just playing with it.

Anyway, I feel very blessed to have made it through 3 Mother's Days now with my 3 beautiful boys!

Trial Run

The boys haven't been to many exciting places thus far. Mostly because Kyle and I are sticklers for "the schedule" and the thought of them missing a nap is scarier than 3 meltdowns in a public place.

But, we are thinking about a trip to the San Antonio Zoo this summer (wow, we are getting adventurous now!). So, we decided to do a trial run and took them to Cabellas...hey the animals are real, they just happen to not be alive.

Well, the fish are alive and they had a great time feeding them and checking out the aquariums.

Of course, the highlight for Carter was the big pickup truck they had in there.

I can't believe it is only 13 1/2 more years before they start driving! Forget a college fund, I think I need to start an insurance fund.
